Keba Konte, Pieces of We

888 Pieces of We: A Photo Memoir. Keba Armand Konte, Konte Photoworks International, July 2008, 30 pages, 10×8 inches (25×20 cm). US$27.95 – $39.95.

I haven’t yet ordered this title–Keba produced it through Blurb, and frankly, at 22 pages, it’s pricing out at more than a dollar per page (update–I think Keba has redone the book; it’s now 30 pages and the link has changed)! Also, I have wanted to add a couple more titles before I splurge on the shipping, but Keba’s is one of only two titles listed under the tag “black artist.” At least there’s a handful more under “African American,” but that encompasses subjects, too. We’ll be changing that soon.

You can preview the book here: http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/355978
