Historian Cheryl Finley is working on two forthcoming titles: Committed to Memory: the Slave Ship Icon in the Black Atlantic Imagination, which is adapted from her doctoral dissertation (Princeton University Press); and a monograph on Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons, forthcoming from the University of Minnesota and the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center.
